Parents play a crucial role in their children's spiritual well-being, having more than 10 times the opportunity to discuss spiritual issues with their kids than anyone else.

We want to help you in this role.

Ministries at First Baptist

We offer a progressive service with a balance of music, both contemporary and traditional.
Our messages are biblically based, and presented in such a way as to leave one uplifted and encouraged.
We have small groups, library, an evangelism team, WMS, choir, and Youth Group.

Our Mission is to reach the people of Pictou County and beyond with the love of Jesus Christ.

Vision

Our Vision is to equip our church family to rise up as passionate disciples of Christ, committed to recognizing and using our gifts.

With our eyes on Jesus, we will seek with humility, to serve and meet the needs of our church family and the greater community.

We will develop authentic, open and loving relationships by allowing the Holy Spirit to work within us.

We will promote healing by being a safe place for broken people, for ourselves, our church family and the wider community. This we will do to the glory of God as we wait in expectation for Christ's return.

Through the power of prayer, we will be united servant leaders, seeking God's direction in all that we do.
